dsClient GUI can be used to view the status and content of your dsTest license. If you are using a node-locked type license, you can also update/install the license on your server using dsClient GUI.
The license information for your dsTest server can be displayed by opening the GUI and clicking on ‘Server’ in the top menu bar. Choose (click on) ‘Manage’.
If you are connected to more than one dsTest server, you will be presented a list of servers. Chose the server for which you want to display and/or update the dsTest license.
The Manage Server window’s Status and Operations tab displays status information regarding your dsTest server, including the name and expiration date of your current dsTest license.
You can display the contents of your current license by clicking on the ‘View License’ button:
If you have a node-locked (non-hosted) type license, you can update your license with the GUI when you receive a new license file from Developing Solutions. Click on the ‘Install License’ button and specify the location of the license file, and change the license name if needed. You will need root access to the dsTest server to perform this function.
