dsTest supports the S1-MME interface between the Mobility Management Entity (MME) and eNodeB, and the S1-U interface between the Serving Gateway (SGW) and eNodeB. The S1 Interface Application, along with other dsTest interface applications, provides dsTest users with complete EPC testing capability. Our eNodeB, MME, SGW, PGW, and Home Subscriber Server (HSS) emulators support end-to-end testing of IP connectivity to LTE access. About the S1 Dictionary
The S1 Dictionary provides a valuable S1 research source as a comprehensive reference to aid the configuration of S1 test scenarios. With the dictionary, a test designer can determine information regarding each message:
– Message name and code;
– A short description of how the message is used;
– Applicable technical specifications;
– A list of all mandatory/optional Information Elements (IEs) allowed in the message.
In addition to the message data, information about IEs allowed within a specific message can also be researched:
– A list of applicable IEs names with a brief description of the IE;
– IE length;
– Mandatory or optional status of the IEs within the message.
Our SmartIE feature allows IEs to be inserted, deleted, or replaced in S1 messages in real-time test scenarios. With SmartIE, you have complete control over the addition, removal, and modification of the IEs in messages, with the ability to position the modified IE in the message as desired.
