dsTest 5.6 is Available

dsTest v5.6 is available to all current customers with active support agreements. Release 5.6 will expand support for video clients to include DASH VOD and QUIC in addition to the currently supported HLS video client. We are adding support for the Ngmlc service on our GMLC and adding the 5G-EIR node emulator and service. Additionally, for 5G we’re adding location functions to our N2 implementation. To simplify the process of automating dsTest, enhancements will be made to bundle several functions within a test using the REST or XML/TCP API’s as well as expanding support for validation options.

PFCP Dictionary

Developing Solutions has published a PFCP Dictionary to aid in your LTE Sxx (CUPS) and 5GC N4 development, network testing and troubleshooting efforts. This addition complements a set of protocol dictionaries that includes Diameter, GTPv1, GTPv2, M3, MAP, RADIUS, and S1AP. In addition to their informational content, dsTest may use protocol dictionaries to validate messages received and ensure conformance.

NGAP Dictionary

Accelerate your 5G network testing or N2 interface development with Developing Solutions' NGAP Dictionary. The NGAP Dictionary is the latest addition to our 5G network testing reference materials, which include a PFCP Dictionary, the 5G Service Map of service-based interfaces, and our complementary 5G core network mouse pad.

REST Dictionary

The latest addition to Developing Solutions' library of reference materials is now available. Use our REST Dictionary to assist in your 4G and 5G core network testing or RESTful interface development. Browse through the services and request/response message content defined in 3GPP specifications or search for specific structures. Include the REST Dictionary in your dsTest configuration to add conformance testing to your performance tests.
