Barcelona, Spain (February 14, 2012) – Developing Solutions Incorporated, a leading innovator in the test and measurement industry, today announced that it will showcase a Voice over LTE (VoLTE) environment at GSMA’s Mobile World Congress 2012 (Hall 2.1, Booth 2.1EZ1) February 27-March 1. Using dsTest® and the Acme Packet® (NASDAQ: APKT) Net-Net Diameter Director, Developing Solutions will simulate the wide range of Diameter transactions and interfaces required to support VoLTE calls. The company’s exhibit will include the verification of routing of dynamic policy and charging transactions between many core EPC elements, while Acme Packet’s Diameter signaling controller will demonstrate aggregation, routing, and control of these Diameter transactions.

“Diameter signaling control is pivotal to building highly scalable and reliable LTE and IMS networks,” commented Kevin Klett, Vice President of Product Management with Acme Packet. “This demonstration highlights the Diameter control and performance testing requirements as service providers move forward with LTE.”

“As the dsTest platform continues to evolve we look forward to the opportunity to show network operators the many advanced features available to easily configure and quantify the performance of their network equipment,” said John Minnis, Vice President at Developing Solutions. “While the protocols and interfaces for delivering VoLTE services are complex, our solution simplifies the task of measuring performance.”
