McKinney, TX (Oct 22, 2013) – Developing Solutions®’ SmartAVPs feature allows you to modify, delete, or add any AVP in any message processed by a dsTest SmartEvents™ state machine. SmartAVPs allows precise control of AVPs within any Diameter message exchange.
SmartAVPs allows AVPs to be inserted, deleted, or replaced in Diameter messages in real-time. You can define optional, proprietary or vendor specific signaling information, or introduce corrupt or invalid AVPs to facilitate conformance and/or negative testing. SmartAVPs also supports container AVPs.
With dsClient™ GUI, SmartAVPs can be dragged and dropped into to any state that processes an incoming or outgoing message, allowing precise modification of the the AVPs in the message. SmartAVPs may also be used with dsTest XML configurations, but dsClient GUI provides a graphical tool that allows easy modification of message content, as well as maintenance of your entire test scenario configuration.
General Reference Guides
Developing Solutions provides general reference guides to assist your testing:
- Diameter Dictionary – a comprehensive reference guide to aid the configuration of Diameter test scenarios;
- Diameter Result Codes – a complete list and description of Diameter Result Codes;
- Specification Map – Specifications supported by dsTest interface applications and protocols.
dsTest originates, receives, and processes signaling traffic into and from the core network. Multiple emulated nodes can be coordinated to simulate the UE traffic for complex signaling interactions such as VoLTE. Unlike some test tools, dsTest provides stateful, standards-based applications that react appropriately to both expected and unexpected events without the need for scripting.
dsTest surpasses all other tools with its capacity, its performance, and the ease with which you can customize the scenarios and messages to achieve your testing goals.
