Documentation for Previous Versions

See our Customer Support web page for links to Online Help from previous releases. You can also download our documentation in PDF format for use when you're offline. We provide a Reference Guide that contains the XML schema documentation and a User Guide that contains the general product documentation in each dsTest Manuals package.

Video Help

Use our tiered series of self-help videos to assist you in getting started with dsTest, in using dsClient Desktop to configure your tests, and with more advanced testing that involves multiple test applications.

Protocol Reference Materials

Developing Solutions publishes various protocol dictionaries that define message structure and content as well as architectural references for 3G/4G, CIoT, and 5G networks in the form of complementary mouse pads. Certain protocol dictionaries can be used to validate message structure and content during your test. See our Reference Guides web page for more information.

Example Configurations

Jump-start your test configuration with the examples installed with dsTest. You will find at least one example for every test application, as well as examples that illustrate advanced testing features, on your dsTest platform in /usr/local/devsol/dsTest/examples/. If you use dsClient Desktop, it will automatically download these examples into a read-only library in your XML Library.
