SCTP Bundling Control  <sctp_bundling> 

This is flag affects the amount of SCTP bundling Linux will do. When false (default), dsTest will discourage bundling to reduce round trip delay. When true, dsTest will allow Linux to bundle to reduce the number of packets on the wire.

This is not absolute control of bundling. Linux may do some bundling under very heavy load when this flag is not set. The bundling decision is based on the remaining window, chunk/packet size, and outstanding packets. When set, Linux will typically bundle chunks which when combined are below the MTU when there is one/more MTU of unacknowledged data outstanding. When clear, Linux typically only bundle when the window closes to the point a packet must be held, at which point it may be bundled with other packets when it can be sent. This is only applied during the connetion process. If modified after beginning the connection process, the change will not take attempt unless the connections is stopped and restarted.
