RESTRICTIONS
DESCRIPTION
standby Standby Mode - all messages for a session are sent via primary connection when available. If the primary becomes unavailable, messages for new and existing sessions will be moved to the standby. When the primary is restored, the messages for all new sessions will use the primary, while messages of existing sessions will continue to use the standby until all those sessions are compete.
balanced Load Balanced Mode - sessions are evenly distributed between available connections. All messages of a session will be sent on the same interface unless it becomes unavailable, when all messages will be moved to the alternate connection. When a connection is restored, the messages of existing sessions will continue to use the connection to which they are assigned, while new sessions will be balanced across all available connections.
